Chrome under Marshmallow

A

AC Question

Many companies provide a splash page that you have to agree to before they'll let you on their internal network. Hospitals, restaurants, etc. Since upgrading to Marshmallow 6.0.1 (Samsung Note 4 / Verizon) , whenever I'm at a business that renders a Policy Acceptance page prior to allowing you access to their WiFi, Chrome launches but shows an error because Chrome wants to connect to www.google.com first. However, it can't because the WiFi you're using is being blocked by the company's router until you've agreed to their Policy page. It's a catch-22. To get around this, I'm forced to use a browser other than Chrome to agree to the company's policy page. Once I've clicked okay and accepted their policies, Chrome once again works properly because it now has access to their Internet. Odd problem, I know. This has only surfaced since going to Android 6.0.1. Any thoughts?
