How to connect to a hidden Wifi network-Android 6.0

I just bought a new LG Escape 3 and really like the phone for the price. I came from Android 4.2, so I have a lot to learn. My question is how to connect to my home router when I have it set NOT to broadcast. If I turn the broadcast off, my phone disconnects. If I turn the broadcast on, it reconnects. I know I could do this in 4.2. Is there a way to do it in 6.0? Also, the home network is using WEP.
