What is up with my samsung gear s as the screen isn't lit anymore.

Hi All,
So I loved my watch till it wouldn't display anymore information, I have had the watch for about two years now and four days ago the display has stopped working. I can power the device off as I remeber where to tap once I feel the initial vibration, I am hoping that this problem can be fixed via software....
