Why is my battery dying so quickly?

I'm at 11 percent and I took it off charge at 7 am. I have a galaxy s 7 edge and the android system is at 40 percent,why is it so high places help.

7 a.m. in what time zone? In my time zone, that would have given you about thirteen hours of use.

Anyway, try first the simplest attempted fix, a reboot.
Also, it may settle down after a few days.
