Hello everyone. I have been having this problem for quite some time. The 'insufficient space, download failed.' status has been reappearing again and again on top of my screen. I'm using Oppo Neo 5 on android 4.1 and nonrooted.

I noticed that the problem started after I installed Timbloader to download videos from Tumblr. The notifications came up as I ran out of space. so I move all the downloaded videos to my SD Card which gave me back about 200+mb of space.

So I tried whatever solution I could find from google. Even after I uninstalled it, the status just wont't go away. I have tried tapping on the status a bit longer and it says 'This notification is from the system. No need to change the status.' It still kept on reappearing and it really annoys me.

I've also tried some of those free apps cache cleaner and whatnot but none of them solve the problem.

How do I fix/remove this bugs permanently from my phone? Anyone has the solution?

Hi, the phone is very old - it's probably just coming to the end of it's life cycle. Try removing some apps that you don't use and seeing if that helps.

I have removed all third party apps and the error is still there. Over 1gb of free space still didn't solve it.
