My android icon on my homescreen is gone. Need to use it to take photos.

The green Android icon on my Moto g 2gen is gone from home screen, which is the only way I can take and see my photos. Help? I need the green icon?

I don't know which one you're referring to, but look in your app drawer, and long-press, drag and drop the icon where you want it.
