Battery Dieing

[AC Question]

I have a samsung galaxy s5. the charger port got a little bit wet I plugged it in and it didn't work. Then I realized that it got wet. Put it in some rice got it where it to charge.
Now It charges for a bit. gets to like 8 percent and then it goes back to 0 without being unplugged DOes this be the battery is shot something else it shot? plz help me.
