All of a sudden my Samsung Galaxy S4 has stopped saving any camera pictures to my sd card. The last camera pic that I was able to save to my sd was in early August and this issue popped up on 8/13. No new pictures will save but all of my old pictures are still available on the sd card.

I will take a picture on my phone and it will show briefly in the stock Gallery app before turning grey and then deleting automatically. The longest a new picture will remain available on the sd card is about 24 hours, but most of the time, it is gone within an hour.

So far, I have cleared cache and data on the Camera app and for the phone as a whole. I have also reset the camera app but nothing seems to work. Any idea of how to fix? Thanks.

The SD card is probably corrupt. My S4 used to eat them. They can be repaired using chkdsk when in a card reader and connected to a PC. Your data will be safe doing this but if your card is on its way out make sure you back up regularly
