Email notification on galaxy note 7

[AC Question]

I don't receive any notification on email received, and would only sync, when I open the inbox.

Have set auto sync to 15 minutes, but does not function, have checked all settings on notification, and seems correct.

Have you gone in notifications and made sure that email notifications is turned on ?

Also go in your samsung folder and get the Samsung Email app and use it instead of Gmail.

Hope you get it worked out.

If you can find a Best Buy call and see if they still have a Samsung person there.
They will fix the problem easily.

Go to battery>Battery Usage>More>Optimise Battery usage and ensure your email apps are NOT optimised.
