I have a Moto E 2nd gen, Marshmallow, with an storage issue.
My internal storage (5GB) seems to always be almost full. When checkin storage, as I'm showing below, there is discrepancy of over 2GB between the space that is shown as taken up, and the storage listed by sections:
4,40 GB used out of 4,98 GB
-Apps: 1,84 GB
-Pictures:764 KB
-Videos: 8 KB
-Audio: 40 KB
-Other: 433 MB
-Cache: 2,27 MB
So, as you can see, this does not look like the usual case where you just built up your cache files and apps, or accumulated tons of files in your whatsapp folder. That space is simply gone. I formatted my phone a week ago due to this issue, only reinstalled a bunch of basic apps like Facebook, Skype, etc... no games or **** like that. A week after, I found this again.
Has anybody seen this before? I can't seem to find previous cases. Maybe I didn't search with the right words.
