Why does my OnCircle keep kicking my contacts off as well as bumping me off theirs?

There are four people in my family who utilize OnCircle which should show up on my EDGE OnCircle contact list. Periodically without provocation, their names will be removed from my list, as well as mine removed from theirs. No one has changed any settings or have been blocked and the OnCircle is still on. I will periodically turn my OnCircle off then back on. . . . .sometime they re-appear and sometime they don't.
