Why is My Galaxy S7 Edge Have Terrible WiFi Performance

I changed my router, made sure It was WPA2 security, also tried WEP, but my Galaxy S7 internet performance is TERRIBLE when connected to WiFi. What is the problem here?

Try putting the S7 ON the router, then check the performance. (That eliminates antenna problems - the signal will be strong even if one of the antennas isn't connected.)

As for the settings, set the new router up exactly the same way the old one was set up - TKIP or TKIP+AES or AES - some phones have problems with some modes. Also if the old router didn't have 5GHz, turn off 5GHz on the new one. (Some phones have a problem with that.)

I don't have an S7 OR your router, so I can't try things from here.
