I recently un installed my facebook messenger app because of connectivity issues but now i cant sign in and an error message keeps coming up saying " sorry unable to log in, please check your internet connection". My intetnet is working fine because i can log into facebook using my internet browser.
Having exactly the same problem since facebook did an updated wed night
Wipe app data via app manager. Try again. If problem persists, send feedback to the app developers via Google play store.
Mine is also doing the same on my Note 5. I can only log in through the website browser
I have the exact same problem. I just completed the latest update on my samsung s7 edge and the following morning i couldnt fresh facebook. So I uninstalled facebook and messenger and now cant log on apparently because the two apps cant access the internet. I seriously had more control over apps on an ios device and if this isnt sorted im going back to an iphone. Im beyond frustrated.
Having the same issue in Australia. Been happening for a few days now. Works fine in Chrome on Android.
Apparently it is the facebook app so it isn't the fone itself - so many people now cant access their facebook and messenger since it did an update wed night..
Yep, me too. Facebook app updated Thursday night, and I haven't been able to log in since. Get exactly the same message. Tried everything today, cant fix it. Let me know if you find a solution.
I am having the same issue with my Nexus 6P, having issues logging on to Facebook Messenger and Facebook apps. uninstalled reinstalled... So frustrated as I use messenger as my main messaging app... Hoping this can be resolved I was using Beta for both and have tried both the commercial and Beta and am having the same issues.
