I have a galaxy s5. 2 years ago, I lost my iPhone and switched to s5. Since I couldn't deregister my iPhone b4 changing, i did it after the fact. Since then, I have intermittently not gotten texts from my family, all iPhone users. It's only group texts, and I get some but not all. Today, I didn't get my hubby's text, but got my son's in a group.
I have:
checked my number and its deregistered
Checked my husband's phone and it shows: send as sms
My phone is up to date
At one point, we deleted old chains and started new ones.
Help! It's almost time to replace my phone. I don't know if the only solution is going back to iPhone
