Voice problems: impatience + extra words

During the month of August 2016, I started having problems texting using voice in Android Auto on a Honda Accord Using a Samsung Galaxy S6. Sometime it is impatient and after a fraction of a second says "if you said something I didn't hear it". Other times it will prepend the word "message" or "search" to my utterance. Persistence on my part eventually breaks through this bug, but it may take 10 attempts. I've been using this feature since January, and only started seeing this problem sometime in August, although there was one other bug where voice did not work at all, but that was fixed in a subsequent update. To reproduce: (1) press the voice button on the touchscreen and say "text Joe Smith mobile" or equivalent; (2) after it says "what's the message", utter a 10 second or other nontrivial message.
