LG G4 - Unfortunately Contacts has stopped working - happens whenever I try to add/edit a contact

New LG G4. I've installed some apps on it in the ~10 days I've had it, but this issue was right from the beginning. Every time I try to add or edit a contact, I get the "Unfortunately Contacts has stopped" message, and the app restarts. As a result, I cannot add or edit any contacts.

I cleared internal cache, no improvement. I restarted the device in safe mode and the contacts app worked.

Android version is 6.0 kernel 3.10.84 build MRA58K
