Is possible to use an external monitor using USB type C from android?

They are appearing monitors with USB interface type C.
New and future smartphones will be incorporating USB type C.

When you get home or to the workplace, the use of an extended presentation space would be very comfortable.

Chromecast seems to be the easy way to do this.. but one simply can not connect their smart phone to the TV/Monitior via USB without some sort of operating system or app in order to control what one is viewing. Though I've never tried this and one should make sure that your tv/monitor has multiple ports for which to test this creative idea.
