Cant make calls or texts on samsung S7 Help please!

[AC Question]

I bought a new samsung S7 phone as my iPhone 5s has a shattered screen. I tried putting the sim from iPhone [EE] and it registers to the network but I can't make calls - it dials but then cuts out.

Do I need to use the original sim card [gift gaff]

Or is their a bigger problem with the phone? It cost me a lot of money so I'd really appreciate any help!

The first thing I think would be to speak to your carrier about it. They may be able to suggest a simple fix.
