I have Facebook on my phone but have lost my icon

From both the Home screen and the app drawer?

Welcome to Android Central! Open your App Drawer (the button on the bottom row that looks like a grid of dots), then find Facebook. Long-press it, then drag and drop the shortcut back to the homescreen.

Assuming the Oper has a "grid of dots".. sort of like game of thrones..

Ah yes--launchers without App Drawers seem to be getting more common, like Huawei's EMUI. Not my favorite trend.:-\ I participated in a Google UX study about a year ago where they showed me a version of the Nexus or Google Now Launcher without an App Drawer that they were testing, and I gave some strong negative opinions about it.
