I forgot my password and can not boot the phone

hey guys i forgot my password like 2 days ago but i have been using my fingerprint thing to open the phone. last night i closed my phone and now i cant open it. ive checked every single thing on the internet but it didnt work and now im trying to boot it but it gives me an option like download custom os thing or restart the phone when i say custom os thing it starts downloading like forever what should i do at this point?

Hi, did you manage to get into your phone? it sounds like your performing some sort of factory reset on the device.
