How do I get back to normal mode on my Samsung S5?

Usually use fingerprint to unlock, but couldn't (glue on finger). Switched to emergency call. Code didn't work. Now I'm stuck there and cannot use the phone. I am able to receive calls. Thank you.

I don't see what emergency call has to do with it. You're saying that you entered your backup PIN via the Phone dialpad?
