Galaxy S7 won't send text messages more than 160 characters?

AC Question

The Galaxy S3 automatically switched to mms for long text messages. Is there a setting to change on the S7 so that it will also send long text messages? The S7 will only let me type 160 characters and that is not enough, have to send multiple texts to say what I need to.

The limit on text messaging is an important feather implemented by the manufactures of these devices.. However if you're serious about sending files or document size text.. then opt for a .PDF file zip folder and then simply send the zip.

I'm half wondering if you have mms enabled on that device? Mine sends sms as long as I want with no hesitation. Can you send mms (picture message)? If not, talk to your network provider. If yes, some setting needs to be changed...
