Moto 360 Not running for very long after new battery

[AC Question]

I just recently changed the battery in my beloved Gen 1 Moto 360 watch. Everything seemed to go very well, as I am also a computer technician and I am used to tearing down laptops etc to do internal work. After changing the battery the watch seems to take a full charge. Then after I use it for about an hour the screen wont come back on, and seems like the battery is dead. If I then place it back on the charger, it shows the "M" logo screen and is like it is rebooting. I dont understand how if the battery is brand new and has a good charge, how it could use all battery juice in about an hour. I have it on non-ambient so it doesnt stay on all the time, and I am at a cross roads to get another watch, or see if I can resolve why my moto 360 isnt working correctly.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
