[AC Question]

It is forcing me to accept chrome when i try to do a search. I don't like being forced into this

Welcome to the forums. How are you trying to do a search? Is it on the search bar at the top?

I belive this becomes active when one uses a web browser for an app. At least this is what we discovered when searching web sites while using the device. Basically what happens it than no mater what means you've connected to the net (browser related) Chrome tends to post a notice or pop up asking you to download the Chrome app etc. The only way around this, is search that notification screen for a grayed out "X" I believe last time we seen this notification, the "X" was in the top right corner of the screen. Clicking the "X" should remove this and even save this for future returns to the same or like pages. They can only post or send this notification so much until you check the "Remember my Choice" If the app installs by itself, enter your app manger, locate the app and force stop/disable and even uninstall.
