I just got the update for Marshmellow. Prior to this, I could turn on my tablet and the lock screen would come up where I could either use my finger print, or I could use the password. Since the update, when the lockscreen is displayed, it comes up with a message saying, basically tht I can not use the finger print to insert. I must use the password. However, having said that, once the tablet goes to sleeo, I can now get in using my finger print.....odd. Is this the new way, or am I missing some detail where I have to change some input? I tried turning the entry method off and on, but no change. Would it help if I deleted the finger prints ( though they work ) or is there something else I can try. Thank you for any help.

Being required to use your backup PIN or password to gain entry to the device after a restart is the new way of doing it.
