I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab/Pro SM-T520 that won't work

I Have replaced the battery, thinking this was the problem as it seemed to charge very quickly and then die very quickly. Now, when I manage to get the device turned on, it goes to Android System recovery <3e> and options as to what to do. Samsung won't test it forme because they didn't replace the battery and I can't afford a new one! Can you help please?

actually, I just did it again and the screen went black! and nothing is happening!

Welcome to the forums.
I would suggest downloading Samsung Smart Switch to your PC and follow this tutorial. Android recovery using smart switch - Rapid Tricks This should get you up and running.
Just yell if you have any problems

Hi Pugs1957, I did as you suggested (after purchasing a lead to go from my tablet power inlet to my laptop USB port) but the tablet won't respond unless it is plugged into power. I am now totally stuck. I can get into the recovery screen (or even turn it on) only if the tablet is plugged directly into a power socket, which means it can't be connected to the laptop. Do you have any more suggestions please?

So your replacement battery has died? Doesn't sound good. Is it charging with the USB cable connected to PC?

When I plug it into the power socket, it shows an empty battery and then a full one (100%) and then the screen goes black again.

Hmm. There's not a lot that can be done without its own power. The battery drain suggests there may be other issues which means it should be professionally diagnosed, sorry.

Well, sorry I wasn't any help. Sometimes these things can't be diagnosed without physical examination. Isn't there a local repair shop who could look at it? It's a good tablet
