Trying to root vzw s3

[AC Question]

We have gone through towel root gained root access tried to side load the twrp tar through Odin. We get a failed message. The failure message at the bottom left screen is for "footer wrong" "authentication failure". I'm on a verizon wireless galaxy s3. Help???? Maybe point me to an updated guide to a full root method????? I'm not very fluent in computer fyi.
