Why did i receive a ∆ failed on a text that sent 5 days ago?

[AC Question]

I sent a text 5 days ago. On the bottom of the text, 5 days ago, it said SENT. Today it says failed. Anybody know why? Was my number blocked today? Please help, ty.

It is possible it was blocked but that would have happened immediately. More likely it was undeliverable. Incorrect number, receiving device is switched off etc

It definitely wasn't the wrong #. To be honest it was a girl I was dating, duh! So we talked on phone. Rough ending to conversation, she may have just turned off phone completely? Then I sent text which said SENT. Yesterday it read Failed? I'm happy if she didn't get it, but did she get the tex, then block me or didn't get it, now blocked. No I don't want to call or text to find out lol. Appreciate the help.
