Why is my phone not responding and heating? (Sony C5 ultra dual)

I have a Sony C5 ultra dual .Certain apps on the SD card suddenly stop responding and the device begins to heat up.If I switch off and try to restart it ,it does not switch on.I need to use the force shut down button near the micro SD for it to function normally again.
Prior to this,it used to switch off randomly and I need to force shut down to be able to switch it on again.It used to happen a couple of times daily and used to keep showing optimising apps.
What is the real problem? If it is the SD card,how do I solve it?

Hi, have you tried performing a factory reset? you seem to have a multitude of issues?
