Why is my battery suddenly draining very quickly?

I have a Galaxy S7 which I have not had any real issues with until this morning, when I noticed my phone was unusually warm. Using GSam battery manager, I noted the temperature was, in fact, way higher than its should have been and that the battery was draining rapidly. What gives?

It is the oculus rift update, uninstall it and you should be back to normal

Oculus update related. Lookout was constantly scanning Oculus Home. I had to uninstall each Oculus component to get my phone back to normal.
