I think my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a virus

When I open chrome , and only chrome , I get a weird pop up thing that says ' get your free ___ ' it happens EVERY TIME I open the app up . And this morning I got an message saying I have 4 viruses , I did everything it said . When I came back and got rid of the tab . I'm still worried I have a virus ... ever since I got this phone , nothing but viruses

They are just popups trying to get you to get their app which will of course get rid of this mythical virus! Never click on anything like that, just use your home button to back out of the page and reload it again. Maybe an adblocker if they won't go away... I have adguard on my devices but there are many out there. Don't click on any links and never agree to side load anything, and don't open attachments if you don't know the sender and you won't get any malware except maybe the odd unwanted ad...
