AC Question
In Gmail app Im trying to attach two pdf to an email. Click on "attachment" top right, and it opens a "download" built in file manager which displays only five pictures from my local download folder.
Get out , open a third party file explorer , go to the download folder and see my pdfs are there along dozens other things I downloaded.
No , its not me confusing the external download folder on the SD , it is YOU who have made a crap built in file explorer ALWAYS WORSE THAN ANY OTHER THIRD PARTY ONE, and you do not alow us to disable it either.
In this case , since the built in crap file manager doesn't manage external drives AT ALL, I've done myself the favour to MOVE those pdf from the external SD back into the phone's memory. Still doesn't work.
Let me guess, If I uninstall Gmail and choose another Email app from Playstore , when trying to attach anything , it will pass again the task to this junk garbage thing built into android , right ?
What is that "dowload" icon on the home menu ? It doesn't show all the files from that folder !!! What the heck is that ? Your 5 years old nephew compiled that playing on the PlayStation ?
It picks files aleatory from different folders , doesn't recognise pdf, png, word, text... what if I want to attach a short mp4 from that folder ? Where is it ?
In case you realise this abortion of a built in file manager , why not allow the user to damn disable it and install a real file explorer ?
Congratulations, all the drunkards now are Android Developers !!
