Samsung Galaxy S4 mini photo with sound

When I download this a photo with sound from my phone to my laptop, the sound is lost. Is there someway to retain the sound?

Maybe the PC just doesn't know how to process the sound. My guess would be that a robust media program like VLC Player would be able to handle it.

Unless the phone is downloading 2 linked files - one picture and one sound file - and you're not copying the sound file to the computer.
