I dropped a HTC Desire and it has completely stopped working. It does not come on or rspond in any way. I need the large unbacked data in the phone and if possible, the phone working again. What do i do?It is a HTC Desire 616 dual sim. Its body and screen is not damaged or cracked in any visible way. It seems the shock of the fall has internally damaged it somewhat.

Bring it to an independent repair shop (carriers and large shops will wipe the phone as soon as it becomes active to prevent employees from stealing your data) and see if they can repair it without wiping it. (This is a good place to insert my "always keep ALL data on your phone - including apps - backed up to another device" notice.)
