Transferring App Data to New Phone?

A

AC Question

Hi all,

I recently got a Samsung Note 7 and am super excited! However, an app I use doesn't backup its data and can't be "shared" between phones-- so I would have to start all over again, which I don't really want to do. I emailed the company and they suggested I use an app called Helium to backup the data from my old phone, but Helium requires that I plug my phones into my laptop. This is obviously no problem for my new phone, but the mini-USB port on my old phone (Motorola Droid Mini) is busted and won't connect (I've been charging it wirelessly for the past few months, in case anyone's curious). Does anyone else have any other recommendations? Most apps I've found that send data via bluetooth/wifi seem to only send the app, not the specific files that I want.

Any help would be much appreciated! And sorry if any of this is confusing/unclear; I'm not exactly "tech savvy", if you know what I mean.....
