does clearing cache partition clear apps cache

Hi. I am wondering if I clear cache partition does it also clears cache in apps or do I have do it separately. Thanks

Welcome to the forums. No, they are different processes and clear different cache files. Wiping the cache partition won't delete your apps cache.
