Download cancels itself and file was gone

Hi

Today i encountered the problem that when i start a download (200mb apk or 300mb mp3 doesnt matter) everytime the download cancels with no error message. Just one time a finished the download but after 5 10sec the file was gone.

My phone is not rooted and last firmware is installed.

If you're downloading it to a specific place, it disappears from the Downloads folder and reappears where you downloaded it to. (Windows works the same way, so I don't see why so many people get confused.)

If it's disappearing completely, you may not have enough free download space to download even 100mb. (Total free space - which is what you see in Storage - isn't the same as free download space. Storage is partitioned, just like a hard drive. If you have no space on C, but 2TB free on D, you can't download, because you're downloading to C, then moving to D.)

Welcome to Android Central! If you do have plenty of space, then try going to Settings>Apps, select Download Manager, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then try again.
