I am receiving same SMS repeatedly for about 5 to 6 times. Any setting changes to stop this?

This problem started few weeks back only. Not all SMSs are repeated, perhaps those which require delivery report. Maybe my phone is not sending "Ack" on receipt of the SMS. Some screw-up with settings.

Phone: Galaxy Grand Duo GT-I9082
Android: 4.2.2

Welcome to Android Central! Have you asked your carrier about this? Does this happen with other messaging apps, like Hangouts or Google Messenger?
