How do I back Samsung S5 Phone to pc when phone is frozen?

My phone all of a sudden froze on me and is stuck on the black & white samsung screen frozen. I need to back up my phone immediately to a pc before factory reset and need help please??? I am not techy!

Welcome to Android Central! Pull the battery, wait about 10 seconds, then reinsert it. Then try booting into Recovery Mode and see if you can wipe the cache partition: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10404
