why does my ZTE Paragon's Playstore Apps need all access to my devices credentials?

Every time I try to download an app from the play store app, it needs access to virtually all of my ZTE's WiFi connections, picture gallery, contacts etc. And the list goes on. I try to get on the playstore via chrome and am not able to use it at all. Plus I have so many preset apps and I can't write anything to my SD card either. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
