Why is smart switch taking forever?

I upgraded my phone recently 3 days ago switching from an IOS iphone 6 plus to the new note 7 I wanted to try something new! but right now i am having an issue of data transfering between my IOS and Android using smart switch and it's stuck at %99 percent. I am doing the USB method phone to phone. I also tried using the itunes backup but it keeps saying "data corrupted or encrypted" which I know for a fact that it is not check marked on itunes. I need all the help i can and thanks in advance.
