I recently tried to start working for Deliveroo but cannot yet because I can't install the rider app they sent me. I am using an Alcatel Pixi One Touch 3 running Android 4.4.4.
I have clicked the icon in the <settings> to allow third party apps and also the icon <verify apps> is unchecked.
When I click on the link they emailed me, the phone downloads the app but when I click on <open> nothing happens. Also, when I open <downloads> and click on the Deliveroo app, it say's "Can't open file".
I have searched the Alcatel help with no luck and Deliveroo support is also clueless as to why the app will not install. The app requires Android 4.2 or higher, so my phone should be OK, but unfortunately, the app does not open.
