HTC-One-M8 giving random commands to itself. Can this be fixed?

AC Question

It does this any time, even while laying on the table untouched.

Random commands include:
- starting or terminating apps (especially "car-mode" and "Flashlight" lately)
- starting or pausing to play music
- bursts of very rapid typing of random letters
- stopping to charge or switching from plugged-in headphones to speakers

I tried cache-wipe already, didnt work, but that thread was not answered again..

The best thing to do is to join AC so you can respond to your own threads. Unless you join, you can't even reply to the thread, so it's not surprising the other thread just disappeared. It's hopeful that participants in a forum can have a two-way conversations, so please join in so you can reply if someone asks you a question.

Possible cause for what you're seeing is a flaky motherboard. Too many unrelated things happening at once to be just an intermittent digitizer (touch screen).

Did the phone ever get wet? Have you tried starting the phone in Safe mode? Have you done a factory reset? Note that a factory reset will delete your data, so be sure you back up your data before attempting a factory reset.
