Galaxy s7 broken screen backup kies

Hello,

i have an unresponsive black s7 screen. i want to back it up before i send it off to the insurance however when i plug into pc and connect to kies it says the device is locked.
but i unlock via findmymobile and still says device is locked

Did you have any luck with this? I have the exact same problem. My phone has heaps of photos of my newborn!

If you can't unlock the screen you won't get access to the device. Even if you could the default option is charging so unless you changed this Find My mobile won't help. Hopefully your photos are backed up or on your sd card as a repairer *may* reinstall its firmware thus wiping your data
