Why is my Galaxy s7 taking *really* sharp images on Snapchat?

I've had my Samsung Galaxy s7 for a month or two and it took fine pictures on Snapchat until now, it's like the images are too sharp. Both the front and the back camera are doing it, it looks fine before I take the picture then when I take it it gets grainier and sharper, it looks horrible. I thought maybe it was an update but the app hasn't updated in a while and neither has the device. My standard camera app takes fine pictures, both the front and back cameras, so that's not the issue. I uninstalled the Snapchat app and reinstalled it, it's still doing it. I cleared the browser cache in the Snapchat app and still the issue. I'm frustrated, as silly as it sounds it's annoying because it makes the images look really bad. If anyone knows why or how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Same exact thing going on with my snaps. Any idea what's going on yet??
