Samsung Battery Pack Turns off and wont turn back on until given a current

[AC Question]

I recently bought a Samsung battery pack with a USB type c charging method. It automatically turns on fine, but when I leave it in my bag connected to a USB extender to act as a pass through for a couple hours the battery turns off or something. The indicator lights it has don't turn on anymore either. As soon as I connect it to a charger for 2 seconds the battery starts working again. Any ideas on why this does this?
