My new s5 only keeps restarting over and over. Only works plugged in.

I bought a factory refurnished s5 from trade me. The seller said to me it seemed to be working fine when he posted it to me. He told me just to put in my Sim and see what happens. This new phone only seems to be working when I have it plugfed in, if I don't have it plugged in it keeps restarting itself over and over and over. Anyone have any tips or should I just send it back to the seller and get my money back?

It sounds like a bad battery. Unless something happened between the time of the seller's assessment and your receipt of the phone, I don't see how it can have 'seemed to be working fine' to him.
