Delete phone numbers in my phone

When I get a new phone and add contacts there are many duplicates and email addresses I Don't want how do I get rid of them

Are you manually adding contacts? If you have created your contacts as Google contacts at some point, when you add that Google account to your phone the contacts sync to the phone automatically. There should be no need to manually enter your contacts.
