[AC Question]

my Samsung s4 front camera is completely blurry. I turned night off on camera settings like people said in a different post and still blurry. also there is black markings that show on the screen when taking a selfies. which obviously on from the front camera. I have tried wiping and still the same. does anyone know why this is?

Can you visually see anything on the screen in front of the lense of the camera? Could be something internally on the lense.

I also have this problem over the last 2 days. I have done everything previous posts have said to do about this problem but nothing fixes it.

I've wiped the cached partition, done a hard factory reset, neither of which helped. The issue is both when using a regular camera or a camera-using app i.e. snapchat.
It doesn't happen when I use front facing flash on snapchat, camera is fine and clear. It also doesn't happen when you use filter lenses, everything comes out fine.

It seems as if the camera is set to "beauty filter"(smoothens out fave ridiculously) and I can't do anything to change it. This happened completely out of the blue, was using snapchat, locked my phone, and when I came back on snapchat it started taking these blurry pictures.

Please give any hint as to what could the problem be before I lose my sanity
