My phone is a Galaxy Note Edge(kitkat 4.4.4 rooted) and something that has been bothering me for a while is the edge that appears in the screenshots. Is there a way to automatically crop it out from all screenshots? A quick google search came with no results.

    Interesting.
Does that edge appear that way on the phone's screen, like maybe a margin for a slide-out menu?

That explains why the screen shot contains the edge. The screen shot is an exact copy of your actual screen, as it is supposed to be.

Yeah, I get that. But it's annoying how I always get asked what that thing on the side is whenever I send a screenshot to someone.

Any photo editor will let you crop it out manually. But, yes, I can see where that is annoying.

It that margin specific to the Galaxy Note Edge or generic to kitkat ?

No, it's on any Galaxy Note Edge I believe.

THe Edge screen could be removed by going into App Manager and disabling "cocktail bar" service
